In 2017, the facility became home to the newly established Mauldin Youth Theatre as they produced their inaugural play, Disney’s The Lion King, JR. It was striking to see so many people in attendance to see a live, theatrical performance on a Wednesday night in lovely, downtown Greenville, SC. The audience was comprised of both residents and employees of The Woodlands and members of the Greenville community. Over 500 people were in attendance to watch the musical, enjoy drinks and light hors-d’oeuvres, and mingle with friends. Wednesday, March 7 was filled with music and revelry as The Woodlands at Furman sponsored an evening performance of Ragtime: The Musical at the Greenville Little Theatre. ![]()
